International Humanitarian agency, Amnesty International has intervened in the case which the Department of State Security arrested five anti-Buhari protesters at the Dunamis Church Glory Dome in the capital city of Abuja.

The five arrested Citizen who have been nicknamed, the Dunamis Five were set for a Court hearing today and after the judge released them on bail, the DSS arraigned them again on fresh charges, keeping them in detention.

Although Presidential aspirant in the 2019 General elections, Omoyele Sowore has been up and hunkered about the issue, no news has been heard.

Amnesty International posted on their socials:

Amnesty International is calling on Nigerian authorities to comply with court order and release the 5 activists arrested at Dunamis Church Abuja on 4 July.

A court today ordered their release on bail, but instead of complying with the order, the DSS hurriedly arraigned them on new charges, just to brazenly justify keeping them in detention unlawfully, in clear disregard for the rule of law.
