The governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has decorated the first runner up at the Nigerian Idol musical talent show, Francis Atela.
The Benue-born star, Francis Atela who was welcomed home in an elaborate ceremony in the Benue capital, Makurdi had performed Excellently at the just concluded Nigerian Idol, loosing the star prize by a nick.
Therefore the state government of Benue had organized a home coming event for him which was kicked off today.
While events spread to the Benue People’s House in Makurdi, the governor decorated Atela with a medal and awarded him the title of “Ambassador of Youth in Benue State”.
Although Atela’s music career is just beginning, he is tipped to reach the peak of Musicdom.
