Nigeria has been guaranteed a medal at the Tokyo Olympics after Blessing Oborodudu’s triumph over Mongolian Battsetseg Soronzobold in the Women’s Freestyle Wresting Category.
Oborodudu’s Victory means that She would compete for the Gold medal and if she lost, would pick up the Silver medal.
This has come after 10 Nigerian Athletes were disqualified and Blessing Okagbare getting disqualified a day later for failing a drug test.
Oborodudu beat Soronzobold 7-2 to reach the final of the 68 KG women’s Freestyle Wresting Competition.
This has drawn great celebration with the country with the media, blowing up with the news that Nigeria Would finally Puck up a medal at the competitions.
