Kaduna State Government has finally postponed the resumption of school indefinitely. This is coming after a stakeholders meeting which had members of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Nigerian Medical Association and Professional and Community based association in attendance today Monday 26, July 2021
Governor Nasir El-Rufai said the decision was taken due to the ongoing aggressive military operation against bandits in most parts of the state.
Reiterating that his government is committed to protecting vulnerable children from being attacked by fleeing bandits who are already feeling the superior firepower of the military, the Governor revealed that the military deployed more troops to the state for the operation and warned the residents to be vigilant and mindful of unknown faces in their midst as fleeing bandits might infiltrate their communities.
