Veteran Nollywood actor, Romanus Amuta by name but popularly known for his role ‘Natty’ in ‘New Masquerade’, is dead.
Romanus died at the age of 79 in a hospital in Lagos after battling a protracted ailment.
His first child, Chukwuma Amuta, confirming his death in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Enugu, described him as a caring father who did his best to raise his children.
“Yes! My father died this morning in Lagos after a protracted illness,” he told NAN.
