Popular Nigerian rapper, Emeka, professionally known as Blaqbonez has come out to say that being a university undergraduate made him feel like a failure.
He made the post on his Instagram handle, “I was almost depressed I’m the University because I felt like a failure, boys were getting As while all my focus was on making mixtapes”.
He said that he would see his colleagues studying and he would wonder what he was doing with his life, but now he is reaping the benefits.
I don’t know what I’d have done, who would have fed my mother if this music thing didn’t pay off. He said he’s glad that the music paid off, and that all his colleagues are doing well in their chosen fields.
